There are numerous treatments in clinical development for memory and cognition related diseases and though there are inherently high attrition rates in this therapeutic area, there are enough different mechanisms of action being tested that it is reasonable to expect there will be successes in the next few years. With no effective treatments currently available, a product that does bring improvement will find significant market opportunity.
