| 2005 | Ekso Bionics is a developer and manufacturer of human bionic exoskeletons. It was founded after the University of California at Berkeley's Robotics and Human Engineering Laboratory had a breakthrough in demonstrating human exoskeletons that are more energy efficient. |
| 2017 | Ekso Bionics launched the EksoGT exoskeleton’s Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) interface capability through a partnership with HASOMED, a developer of innovative products for neurological rehabilitation. |
| 2019 | Ekso Bionics expanded its medical exoskeleton portfolio with an upper extremity rehabilitation device called EksoUE. The wearable upper body exoskeleton assists patients with a broad range of upper extremity impairment. |
| 2022 | Ekso Bionics acquired the Human Motion and Control (“HMC”) Business Unit from Parker Hannifin Corporation, a motion and control technologies specialist. The acquisition included the Indego lower limb exoskeleton line of products and the planned development of robotic-assisted orthotic and prosthetic devices. |
