Responsibilities
  • Manage the main pillars of a consulting practice: people management, delivery management and client engagement.
  • Identifies, leads, or oversees the development of customer-facing business solutions and offerings that have an impact on the market.
  • Act as a 'player coach', especially initially, overseeing our consulting function but also driving the execution of key consulting studies.
  • Directs business operations and resources of consulting practice.
  • Manages and leads through the management team and/or senior level individual contributors.
  • Accountable for managing and growing substantive revenue streams and customer base.
  • Formulate and implement our strategy for delivering consulting and advisory services to our core target industries.
  • Resolves staffing issues for very complex engagements.
  • Accountable for operational/financial metrics and overall business results of consulting practice.
  • Interacts internally and externally with executive management involving negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy.
  • Interacts with executive levels both internal and external regarding matters that influence policies and strategies.
  • Has the ability to work in an unstructured and agile environment with minimal supervision;
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships, at all management levels;
  • Background research for persons, sales angles, organisations, et al – needed as part of working on those important deals;
  • Effective at facilitating and implementing change;
  • Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to adapt style based on audience;
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to link financial results to performance drivers and business outcomes, provide recommendations to improve business results;
  • Help the sales team upkeep notes following calls, meetings, scenario analyses;
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple projects throughout the entire project/program management cycle;
  • Collaborate with partners to plan the layout and agenda of workshops and clarify outcomes that the client is expecting to achieve;
  • Proactive in identifying process improvements;
  • Coordinate end-to-end what’s needed for those deals – all Content/Collateral Building – PPT's, Proposals, Nurture Materials etc.

The Head of Sales for BCC/Futuresource Consulting will report into the CEO of BCC/Futuresource Consulting and manage the team of 10. You will be responsible for all sales channels and new business growth for BCC/Futuresource Consulting. The Head of Sales will be fully accountable for achieving and exceeding aggressive sales and revenue targets and building and cementing relationships with customers and partners. The Head of Sales will also be a talented coach and mentor, experienced articulator of value-based sales propositions who will build a clear sales vision and strategy for the organisation globally.

Job Responsibilities
  • Drive sales strategy in all areas including resellers, partners and Ecosystem participants
  • Lead, coach, developand motivate a best-in-class team of value-based salespeople
  • Implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement process for account planning across the salesforce
  • Work with marketing and product/services development to generate best-in-class product and services improvements
  • Prepare and present revenue forecasts, qualified pipelines and budgets and report weekly, monthly and quarterly
  • Gain a clear understanding of product and service margins, to monitor service-line contribution and value in determining focus for sales and marketing planning and campaigns
  • Develop and execute plans to achieve and exceed sales targets, improve customer penetration and retention, through upsales and cross-sales of new and innovative services and products, while growing the customer base with new business sales into new and existing markets e.g. PE/VC
  • Where applicable establish/complement C-suite customer relationships with existing customers to understand, derive and deliver value-based engagements by effectively understanding, positioning and communicating our unique value proposition, service/product/competitive differentiation whilst teaching/coaching the sales team replicate this across all of their respective accounts
  • Gain comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the customer value contained within the BCC/Futuresource Insights data for inclusion across all applicable products and services in the portfolio, and articulation of same in all customer presentations, and where applicable/appropriate, customer proposals
  • Understand market specific landscapes, trends and changing customer requirements to affect a continual process of service evaluation, improvement and innovation enabling further/improved sales.

In the first year the Sales Leader will be expected to:

  • Exceed the sales targets
  • Create and implement sales strategy for services campaigns into VC, PE and related finance vertical
  • Deliver 100% service and product report renewals
  • Increase revenue growth per client
Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • Proven demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and value based products/solutions
  • 10+ year track-record of managing sales teams increasing B2B sales year-on-year
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in PE/VC finance sector, market research, and/or business consulting
  • Strong knowledge of financial and business operations e.g. SF.com, Hubspot etc. including forecasting, budgeting and reporting
  • Dealing with and closing business solutions at C-level

The Head of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing the BCC/Futuresource marketing strategy, overseeing the marketing budget, and leading the marketing teams Globally. The Head of Marketing will work closely with the Heads of; Sales, Research, Consulting, and Customer Success teams to ensure that the company's brand, value proposition, and customer experience are aligned and communicated effectively across all channels.

They will also work closely with the Transformation Team in developing ongoing innovation in products, services and consulting. This will include the monetisation of any and all existing and historic content through innovative use of streaming, video, webinars and other electronic media.

They will monitor and analyse performance of the marketing campaigns and initiatives, and report on the return on investment (ROI) and key metrics. The Head of Marketing will manage, guide and mentor the Product Marketing and Value-Based Marketing leads to deliver the approporiate outcomes in pursuit of the company's goals.

Job Responsibilities Overview
  • Develop and implement the company’s overall marketing strategy and plan, including the objectives, tactics, strategy, budget, timeline, and KPIs
  • Develop unique and bespoke marketing plans in partnership with the Product Marketing and Value-Added Marketing that are tailored to each service line with knowledge of individual marketplaces, genre, and available resources
  • Manage and optimise the marketing mix, including the online and offline channels, such as website, social media, email, content, SEO, SEM, PR, events, webinars, podcasts, etc.
  • Lead and mentor the marketing teams, and ensure that they have the skills, resources, and support to deliver high-quality work and achieve company goals
  • Collaborate with the sales, research, consulting and customer success teams to understand the customer needs, preferences, and feedback, and to align the marketing activities with sales, and the product and value added services roadmaps

Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years' experience as a generalist marketer, preferably in a B2B, SaaS or research associated field
  • Bachelor's in business with MBA’s preferred, marketing, communications, technical, or relevant field of study
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft a value proposition, and deliver compelling and persuasive messages.
  • Expertise in growth/performance marketing with ability to adeptly navigate technical tools (e.g. AdWords, HubSpot, Pardot, Salesforce) as a player-coach for the team.
  • Successful track record of building and optimising multi-channel marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and brand awareness for a fast-growing product/service.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and hypothesis-driven bias for action to try and fail fast until we succeed
  • Significant experience in stakeholder management as well as working with contractors/external agencies and internal shared resources.
