BCC Research is looking for a Senior Analyst to support its business and website analytics and testing programs to drive email marketing and e-commerce growth strategies. This position will translate business questions into analytical requirements and perform analysis to gain insights and identify lead generation and revenue-generating opportunities. The successful candidate has experience optimizing conversions and driving revenue growth in a B2B environment.

Responsibilities

  • Explore and mine data, and develop models to inform business, product, and marketing improvements.
  • Decide what internal and external data is needed to answer specific questions or problems.
  • Identify opportunities for analysis and optimization that increase lead conversion or drive revenue.
  • Develop and maintain clear, concise reporting on KPIs with a focus on actionability.
  • Provide statistical analysis using web based surveys, web path analysis and web analytic metrics.
  • Provide insight into site visitor behavior in order to inform site design changes and marketing initiatives.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative data to identify A/B and Multivariate testing opportunities and establish success metrics. Deploy and analyze tests.
  • Analyze and interpret data with the ability to write and deliver final presentations that inform the go forward business strategy.
  • Communicate all aspects of project: design, findings and conclusions throughout.
  • Determine more efficient methods for finding or collecting data.
  • Work with technical team to ensure accurate and comprehensive Web analytics implementation and successful deployment of new solutions.
  • Work with technical teams to integrate Web data with other channels to allow comprehensive business insight across multiple channels.
  • Drive adoption and utilization of Web analytics tools by other groups through training and facilitation.

About You and the Job Requirements
  • Preference for MBA or Graduate Degree in a Quantitative or Social Sciences Fields with heavy emphasis on quantitative skills
  • P4-6 Years of analytical experience preferably with 2 plus years of experience in web marketing analytics tools, A/B and Multivariate testing, and leveraging advanced statistical concepts and techniques.
  • PStrong knowledge of experimental/test design and Google Analytics
  • PStrong research experience
  • PWorking knowledge of social media and social listening tools.
  • PMS Office (required)
  • PAdvanced MS Excel skills required. Advanced database or business intelligence experience a plus.
  • PDetail-oriented, with strong mathematical, analytical and reporting skills.
  • Must be able to understand and analyze data, synthesizing large volumes of data and complex questions into clear analysis and actionable findings.
  • Excellent data visualization and communication skills, including the ability to clearly and effectively communicate and present findings to stakeholders at all levels.

BCC Research seeks a creative, motivated, intellectually curious and rigorously organized individual to create and execute both an inbound and outbound content marketing plan focused on evolving the brand, elevating our social media game, nurturing and converting leads and testing and iterating just about everything. This role reports to and works closely with the Director of Marketing to frame and execute a content strategy based on business and brand goals, and will also work closely with our in-house editorial team on messaging and materials specific to key customer segments.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Creating, owning and executing the content strategy in support of business and brand goals
  • Mapping all content needs against the customer lifecycle, identifying and filling gaps
  • Authoring content including, but not limited to, blogs, press releases, newsletters, scripts, social media posts and email campaigns
  • Repurposing existing content and packaging it into alternative forms to supplement broader content strategy
  • Creating and executing plans to drive engagement on social media on Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms

Qualifications:

BCC Research contracts with individuals and small consulting firms globally to provide high level insight and forecasting to our continually growing customer base. Working closely with our Editorial department the Analyst will research the global market for an emerging or growing technology (including: systems, processes, materials, equipment, etc.) in one or more of our 18 industry categories. Our analysts are located across the globe, are experts in their field and contract with us on a remote, per-report contract basis. They work on their own schedules to provide insight and market data through both secondary research and one-on-one conversations with key industry experts from around the world. As an analyst you will explain a technology, segment, size and forecast a market and research related patents and companies.
