ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Director of Sales, CLIENT SOLUTIONS EXECUTIVES (CSE's) are teamed with Business Development Representatives (BDR's) and tasked with developing and closing new business from inbound channels and targeted outbound selling activities. In this role, you will be both the team lead and a direct contributor of new business growth. You will work collaboratively in directing the coordinated efforts of a BDR and proactively pursuing highly qualified leads and target accounts.

You are a self-driven and achievement-oriented, routinely working backwards from earnings goals to understand the daily selling activities and performance metrics required to crush quota and increase income. ABOUT THE JOB
  • Engage Director and C-level product, marketing, business and corporate development executives at global and national enterprises.
  • Generate revenue through the sale of subscription licenses, individual reports and custom research solutions to new customers.
  • Generate revenue by upgrading single report buyers to subscription licenses or by cross selling additional reports or custom research solutions.
  • Work and convert inbounds leads and proactively develop new leads, prospects and customers from direct selling efforts.
  • Develop, implement and execute team, territory and target account strategies in partnership with CRO and BDR.
  • Develop and maintain a full pipeline of deal opportunities in Salesforce CRM, and accurately forecast monthly sales.
  • Lead quarterly and monthly progress review and planning meetings with your BDR.
  • Make it your business to understand the industry, our products and competitor to the extent required to tailor and articulate our unique and compelling value proposition to prospects.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly individual and team performance metrics.
  • Enlist internal resources where and when necessary to advance and strengthen our position and opportunity with prospects.
ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience and demonstrated success in a similar role prospecting for new business, developing effective selling strategies and achieving target account objectives and achieving quota.
  • Outstanding personal communication and selling skills including a strong client and solutions orientation, the ability to listen actively, probe for needs and establish rapport and relationships with key buyers.
  • Highly skilled at identifying and developing inbound and outbound sales opportunities by researching potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing/delivering quotations.
  • Experience and comfort working in a flat and highly collaborative corporate culture that requires initiative and accountability, and rewards performance and results.
  • Driven to succeed with an unrelenting but cordial competitive spirit.
  • Self-starter with a proud, positive and professional attitude, a high level of integrity, and strong personal work ethic.
  • Team player, capable of enlisting and working well with BDR's and other internal team resources.
  • Comfort with technology, science, or manufacturing based industries or product is a plus.

As a key member of the senior management team, you will be helping fuel the growth and transformation of a 45-year old international market research brand. You will set world-wide strategy and planning, and lead a team of 30-35 marketing professionals tasked with branding, communications, content marketing, digital marketing, partner marketing and demand generation activities to drive new customer acquisition, engagement and retention results.

You are hands-on, bright, independent, and experienced in all facets of B2B marketing, offline and online. You are one part brand steward and compelling storyteller, and two parts growth hacker deft at leveraging tech stacks, digital best practices and validated learning to drive quantifiable business impact at scale.

Responsibilities:
  • Set and lead the strategic direction, execution and management of all corporate marketing related activities.
  • Develop, execute and manage customer acquisition, engagement and retention programs and initiatives.
  • Implement and optimize demand generation programs leveraging all digital channels (website, email marketing, content marketing, SEO, PPC, Retargeting, Social Media, etc.) to drive top-of-funnel and downstream conversion metrics.
  • Create and communicate a clear brand identity that supports a compelling value proposition.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to identify and build marketing assets sales tools to support the buyer journey and assist with Business Development deals.
  • Manage and maintain the corporate website and customer portal to optimize visits, transactions, engagement and utilization, among prospects and customer alike.
  • Manage and grow a 1MM plus contact database, and develop a robust opt-in program to nurture high-value and highly engaged enterprise and SMB customer relationships.
  • Track, measure, analyze and optimize everything to improve marketing effectiveness and business performance.
  • Oversee the direction and management of all branded social media outposts across LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.
  • Collaborate across departments with Web Development, Business Development, Product Marketing, Sales/Account Management, Editorial and Production.
  • Develop and deliver executive briefings and ROI reports for each program to senior management.
  • Participate in strategic planning to help inform and shape net new product development initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience managing B2B marketing teams and programs.
  • Experience with large scale email marketing, PPC, content marketing, SEO, social media, mobile marketing, lead scoring and website management.
  • Experience in A/B testing, landing page management and conversion flow optimization.
  • Deep experience in content marketing and understanding of buyer personas, customer journey's and how to use digital assets to influence and direct buyer behavior.
  • Experience in a diverse range of campaigns and programs with demonstrated ability to develop unique and creative strategies to drive lead generation.
  • A successful track record of iterating and refining demand generation campaigns, executing multi-touch integrated strategies, and understanding target market segmentation and analytics that drive outcomes and directly tie inbound marketing activity to sales and net new customer growth.
  • High standards for database segmentation, list management, and marketing contact database hygiene.
  • Experience managing external agency relationships.
  • Ability to synthesize data from a wide variety of sources into clear, concise, actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Proven ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with changing market and organizational requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams.
  • Proven ability to use sound and accurate judgment when making decisions.
  • A digital junkie keen to stay up-to date (if not ahead) and take advantage of emerging technology trends and platforms within web/digital marketing.
  • Excellent leadership skills and confidence to lead, inspire, manage, and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, HubSpot, and social selling tools i.e. LinkedIn and Twitter.
  • Outstanding written and presentation skills.
  • Google Analytics certified preferred. Experience with salesforce.com a plus.
