The main factor driving the increasing use of green diesel over all other forms is the
lower emissions and lower greenhouse gases (GHG) it produces when it is used in
diesel engines. Given that green diesel’s much lower greenhouse gas emissions meet
the stringent regulatory requirements of most regional and city governments, this fuel
has the opportunity to become the fuel of choice for large vehicle operators.
