As a key member of our Member services team you will be responsible for driving Member engagement, business growth and the service transformation of a 45-year old international market research brand.

Here’s how you’ll help that to happen:

  • Interviewing and consulting with Members to identify and clarify information and knowledge needs
  • Providing attentive service and solutions to Members to build relationship where you become the choice to provide consultation and guidance in their use of research reports, data and analysis
  • Teaching, training, and developing information literacy for our Members
  • Identifying reports and services to meet Member requirements
  • Curating and packaging information in usable formats
  • Negotiating appropriate pricing and terms and conditions for the licensing or acquisition of information resources if outside of our own library of titles
  • Communicating with Product, Editorial and Marketing all intelligence gleaned to help us to meet our Members most critical operational or strategic needs/goals
  • Understanding and communicating about the fundamentals of quantitative and qualitative research methods

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Onboarding new Members, training them in the use of our library and reports
  • Resolving member questions/issues, taking every opportunity to further understand the problems the Members are trying to solve
  • Meeting or exceeding productivity and quality expectations for projects
  • Regularly preparing and delivering presentations and trainings to Members
  • Monitoring and analyzing Member usage, creating reports related to usage statistics to aid with renewals and upsell opportunities
  • Communicating directly with Members to nurture and develop trusting relationships
  • Regularly reading business and industry news

We are looking for a creative, motivated, intellectually curious and rigorously organized intern to research, proof, write and edit at BCC Research, a fast-paced global market research firm with offices in Chapel Hill, NC. The intern works closely with the Managing Marketing Editor to produce a variety of written content that meets a broad range of business and brand goals. He or she will spend approximately 8 hours each week for 12 weeks actively building a portfolio of published articles and press releases while receiving constructive feedback and hands-on business, editorial and marketing experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Authoring content including, but not limited to, blogs, press releases, newsletters, scripts, social media posts and email campaigns
  • Repurposing existing content and packaging it into alternative forms to supplement broader content strategy
  • Creating and executing plans to drive engagement on social media on Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms
  • Proofreading and editing materials to ensure accuracy of information

This senior director will lead digital engagement strategies to drive and nurture leads throughout the buying process. The ideal candidate will have a background in all digital acquisition tactics such as search, social marketing, email and marketing automation and will have experience both building and executing integrated demand generation campaigns, a deep understanding of marketing operations and processes, and exceptional English language capabilities.
