Account Managers for BCC Market Research will be an experienced Account Manager responsible overseeing Member Services for research products, data insights, and consulting services to existing clients. In this role, you will work with C-level executives (business and technology leaders) in the Life Sciences, Advanced Materials Sciences, Academia, and Tech Transfer Offices globally.

You will engage in a consultative sales approach, meeting with C-suite executives to understand their highest priority initiatives for renewals and account penetration. You will clearly articulate how BCC Research can deliver deeper market, technology, and business insights in support of their decision-making processes.

Job Responsibilities Overview
  • Develop sales and growth strategy for your accounts with focus on renewing and up-selling BCC products and services
  • Increase YOY renewal growth through upsell, cross sell and account penetration by 20%
  • Maintain an appropriate and accurate sales pipeline of adequate size to ensure target quota achievement; maintain pipeline information in CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Proficient understanding of market research industry in (vertical), research methodology, client's business, and products & services suitable to meet the client’s needs
  • Target and sell to senior management (Director, VP, C-level) in R&D; Business Development; Corporate Venturing; and/or Strategy and M&A; Professors, Esteemed Faculty, Licensing Directors
  • Conducting sales meetings with customers and delivering company sales pitches
  • Onboarding customers and ongoing customer service, including arranging client debriefs on all closed sales

Required Experience and Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience
