Company Overview

Acumentrics is a prominent manufacturer of solid oxide fuel cell devices with outputs ranging from 250 W to 10 kW. Acumentrics’ innovative tubular SOFC production runs directly from natural gas, propane and other hydrocarbon fuels at typical delivery pressures thanks to in situ reformation. Acumentrics also produces uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems for power conversion, quality assurance, and backup.

Acumentrics Holding Corp. has two subsidiaries: Acumentrics SOFC Corp., which develops and manufactures solid oxide fuel cells, and Acumentrics RUPS LLC, which designs and manufactures rugged AC and DC uninterruptible power supplies (RUPS) for military and industrial power conditioning, backup and other mission-critical applications.

In 2020, the company had a groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion of its headquarters in Walpole, Mass. Also, the company won the fifth annual manufacturing award. This award is given by the Commonwealth's Legislative Manufacturing Caucus for excellent leadership in Massachusetts manufacturing as it responds to the difficulties posed by the COVID-19 epidemic.
