1997 ADAMA (initially known as Makhteshim Agan Industries) was founded in 1997 by the merger of two Israeli crop protection companies, Agan Chemical Manufacturers Ltd. and Makhteshim Chemical Works.
2014 Makhteshim Agan Industries (MAI) officially transitioned its global brand to ADAMA to unify its worldwide operations under one name and farmer-focused identity.
2017 ADAMA Agricultural Solutions acquired a number of crop protection products in the US from Syngenta AG – the Bravo (Chlorothalonil) family of fungicides, including the products Bravo Weather Stik, Bravo Ultrex, and Bravo ZN, as well as the insecticides Fulfill (Pymetrozine), Trigard, and Armor (both containing Cyromazine).
