Company Overview
Aldevron provides plasmid DNA, proteins, enzymes, antibodies and other biologicals to help its partners achieve groundbreaking science throughout a variety of life science applications. From contract services to comprehensive solutions, the company supplies products and support at every stage of development and production.
Aldevron’s enzymes are engineered to be used in a variety of applications including electroporation, transfection and microinjection, providing a one-vendor strategy for preclinical through GMP gene editing nucleases. Aldevron offers gene-editing nucleases not only as catalog products in standard formulations, but also as custom manufactured ones to meet specific needs. Several options for research, GMP-Source (GMP-S) and GMP quality grades are provided for a seamless transition from research through clinical stages of development.
In June 2021, Aldevron was acquired by Danaher Corporation, and will now be part of Danaher’s life sciences division. The acquisition will expand Danaher’s capabilities in genome medicine.
