AliveCor develops personal digital devices for cardiac care. The company’s personal ECG devices can various cardiac irregularities such as atrial fibrillation, tachycardia or bradycardia within 30 seconds, so that patients can manage their heart health. The company’s ECG technology is cleared by the FDA and the products are HIPAA-compliant. The technology is based on AI, cloud and micro-electrode technology. AliveCor’s platform is developed using its proprietary deep neural network that analyzes ECG data to measure a user’s potassium levels without requiring any blood from the patient. The neural network was trained in collaboration with Mayo Clinic using over 1.5 million ECGs. The platform was validated on approximately 62,000 ECGs. The company’s Kardia devices are available to customers in more than 37 countries and have recorded over 100 million ECGs.
