ALSTEM was founded in 2012 by a team of scientists with expertise in iPSC reprogramming and genome editing technologies. ALSTEM’s iPSC-related products include iPSC reprogramming kits, human iPSC lines, isogenic iPSC lines, mouse iPSC lines, and culture media.
The company’s state-of-the-art facility houses full-service R&D laboratories and BSL-2 lab services to support its customers’ growing needs in genome editing, virus packaging, cell immortalization, and iPS technology. ALSTEM provides iPS technology under its license with iPS Academia Japan. The alliance allows the company to utilize the iPSC patent portfolio based on the discoveries of Dr. Shinya Yamanaka.
