1960	Tadashi Doi established Kyoto Daiichi Kagaku in Shimoyokonawa-cho, Fushimi-ku, Kyoto, Japan.
1975	The company closed a contract with Yamanouchi Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. to sell an automatic urine analyzer.
1979	The company closed a contract with Chugai Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. to sell a simple blood ammonia test reagent kit.
2000	The company formerly known as Kyoto Daiichi Kagaku Co., Ltd. changed its name to ARKRAY Inc.. This name change marked a significant point in its history as it expanded its business in clinical diagnostic instruments and health products globally.
2015	Arkray acquired Span Diagnostics' in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) business for approximately ₹100 crore to establish ARKRAY Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. in India.
