2021	Hitachi Astemo was founded from the merger of Hitachi Automotive Systems with three former Honda affiliates: Nissin Kogyo, Keihin, and Showa.
2023	Hitachi Astemo Ltd. and its wholly owned subsidiary, Hitachi Astemo Electric Motor Systems Ltd., have conducted an absorption-type merger to strengthen their electric powertrain strategy.
2024	Astemo has established Astemo Cypremos Ltd., a new company, to expand its Software Defined Vehicles (SDV) support through software and cloud services.
2025	Hitachi Astemo Ltd. was renamed Astemo Ltd., strengthening its brand in electrification and smart mobility.
