2000	Aurubis AG acquired Hüttenwerke Kayser AG in Lünen, a processor of residues from industrial production that contain silver, copper, and tin.
2020	Aurubis AG acquired the Belgian-Spanish Metallo Group with sites in Beerse (BE) and Berango (ES), to strengthen its recycling portfolio.
2022	Aurubis AG collaborated with Anglo American plc (Anglo American), a British-listed multinational mining company, to develop copper products for future-enabling metals that are sustainably sourced and supplied.
