Big City Crushed Concrete, founded in 1988, is a U.S.-based recycled construction material provider. The company produces TXDOT-grade rock material by recycling clean and rubble concrete. The use of crushed concrete products not only reduces the harmful impact of CDW on the environment, but also provides economic benefits in terms of materials and disposal costs. The company’s 247 TXDOT Grade 1 Flexible Base is used for different applications such as, for example, it serves as the base under paving, in capping building pads, temporary roads and staging areas. Other uses include 3/8” minus base, 1½” rock for draining fill and 3” rock that is used for construction yards or entrances. The company also produces low-grade, cold-mix crushed asphalt for construction applications like temporary roads, dust suppression and road topping.
