Biolegio B.V. was founded in 1996. Simple custom-made DNA oligos have given way to highly modified and specialized oligos for a wide range of life science applications in the company's product line over the years. Sequencing and NGS, PCR, Real-Time PCR, SNP detection, genotyping, gene expression, and mutation detection are some of these applications. In order to meet the demands for clinical and molecular diagnostic products, the company offers its whole product portfolio, which ranges from small-scale synthesis for R&D to high scale/bulk OEM and B2B services for production requirements. All products are manufactured to the highest quality standards and are traceable.

The company has a manufacturing site located on the campus of the Radboud University in Nijmegen, which it recently expanded. Biolegio B.V. delivers its products through distributors in countries such as Australia, Israel, Lithuania, Greece, Ecuador, Spain, Tunis and Sweden. The company has collaborated with Synthego on a genome editing portfolio for CRISPR applications.
