2003	BYD acquired Xi'an Tsinchuan Auto Co. Ltd (Now BYD Auto Co. Ltd).
2008	BYD launched first plug-in hybrid automobile.
2010	BYD and Daimler signed joint venture to establish the Shenzen BYD Daimler New Technology Co. Ltd.
2014	BYD signed an agreement to construct first ion-phosphate battery factory in South America.
2023	BYD Co. Ltd acquired mobile electronics manufacturing business from Jabil Inc.
