2014	CHAIN Biotechnology is a U.K. microbiome company founded in 2014 by serial entrepreneur Dr Edward Green. It focuses on the development and commercialisation of microbial technology for the production and delivery of biotherapeutics to the gut.
2021	Oxford Vacmedix and CHAIN Biotech collaborated to develop and commercialise oral vaccines targeting cancer & infectious disease.
2022	CHAIN Biotech and the University of Oxford collaborated to develop superior oral vaccines to immunise against human rotavirus (HRV) infection.
2024	CHAIN Biotech collaborated with the German Cancer Research Center, DKFZ, for the development of therapeutic cancer vaccines for indications caused by Human Papillomavirus (HPV).
