1956	Cummins opened its first international plant in Scotland.
1959	Motores Cummins Diesel De Brasil Ltda is established.
1959	Cummins acquired eymour Woolen Mills (later became Fleetguard Filtration).
1962	Cummins partnered with Komatsu to enter into East Asia market.
1962	Kirloskar Plant is established, marking Cummin's entry into India.
1973	Cummins acquired Holset the company would later be known as Cummins Turbo Technologies.
1985	Cummins Electronics Company Inc. was established.
1986	Cummins acquired Newage AVK.
1998	Cummins opened Holset plants in China and India.
2001	Cummins Emission Solutions was established.
2007	Cummins partnered with Beijing-based Beiqi Foton.
2017	The distribution business headquarters opened in Indianapolis.
2024	The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) partnered with Cummins Inc. and Purdue University to install and test the first stretch of highway in the United States that can wirelessly charge electric vehicles as they drive down the road.
