CST's brands include IGmco, BEI Sensors, Systron Donner Inertial, Kavlico, Crouzet Crydom and Newall. CST provides sensors, controls and actuation products to the industrial, transportation, aerospace and government/military markets.

As the market demands improvements in energy-efficiency and as regulations continue to mandate increased safety, CST is meeting those needs with pressure sensors, inertial sensors and seat-belt-tension sensors. The company's sensors do everything from sensing vapor pressure in a cylinder to reporting when a diesel particulate filter is clogged. CST inertial sensors are used widely in brake systems to provide stability and control, keeping vehicles safe on the road in icy or slippery conditions. CST's control-product offerings include microcontrollers, solid-state relays and microswitches. Solid-state relays are used to turn on and off power to heating elements in an industrial range. Micro-controls are also used to control security features in automated parking lots. CST's microswitches are used in hand tools to control the on and off functions of the tool.

In the aerospace and government/military industries, CST's inertial sensors, position sensors and operator controls help guide, stabilize and control the guidance and navigation of planes, helicopters, missiles and other aircraft. Systron Donner Inertial is a brand of Custom Sensors & Technologies. Systron Donner Inertial (SDI) is a supplier of quartz MEMS inertial sensing products and systems, providing precision systems solutions to aerospace, military and commercial aircraft and marine and land vehicular applications. The company's products and systems are ideally suited for use by integrators and OEMs. The company was a pioneer in the development of quartz MEMS technology, using a tuning-fork design originally introduced in the company's solid-state GyroChip quartz MEMS sensor design. SDI is continuously developing leading-edge disciplines with new innovative breakthrough products, which are enabling advanced performance in critical military and commercial guidance, navigation and control applications, worldwide.
