Devyser
Company Snapshot
Company Overview
Devyser was founded in 2004 by three pioneers who envisioned rapid, noninvasive diagnostics based on multiplexed PCR and QF-PCR technology. The company’s products are used to guide targeted cancer therapies, to enable rapid prenatal diagnostics and to perform post-transplant follow-up.
The company develops DNA tests with the end user in mind. The company’s focus is on eliminating tedious protocols and streamlining workflows to create tests that are faster, simpler and easier to use in routine diagnostics laboratories.
The company operates in product categories such as transplantation, thalassemias, oncology, fetal RHD screening NIPT, hereditary, cystic fibrosis, cardiovascular, male infertility, rapid aneuploidy analysis and accessories.
Devyser markets two NGS-based tests, one for cystic fibrosis (CFTR NGS) and another for analyzing the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes (BRCA NGS). Additional NGS-based tests include FH NGS, Thalassemia NGS and Chimerism NGS.
The Thalassemia NGS test analyses sequence variants in the HBA1, HBA2 and HBB genes and is used with Illumina MiSeq and MiniSeq instruments.
Devyser has a proprietary NGS sample preparation platform involving multiplex PCR and QF-PCR. This platform performs multiplexing in a single reaction and thus streamlines the library preparation process workflow.
