2022 Founded new Business Group, Freudenberg e-Power Systems (FePS), to produce fuel cell powertrains for ships and heavy-duty vehicles.
2022 Freudenberg becomes the first manufacturer to receive the “Type Approval” safety certification for a methanol fuel cell propulsion system for oceangoing ships from the international classification firm RINA.
