GE Vernova is an energy company that offers various products and services that generate, transfer, orchestrate, convert, and store electricity. GE Vernova was formed from the merger and subsequent spin-off of General Electric's energy businesses in 2024. It operates through three segments: power, wind, and electrification. The power segment designs, manufactures, and services gas, nuclear, hydro, and steam technologies. Steam and gas turbines are provided under the power segment. In 2025, 15.3 gigawatts of turbines have been sold in total compared to 11.9 gigawatts in 2024. GE Vernova operates in over 100 countries globally and maintains its installed base of over 7,000 gas turbines, including heavy-duty and aeroderivative. Globally, over 120 of its gas turbines support power generation with hydrogen and associated fuels. Its hydrogen gas turbines can operate with hydrogen content ranging from 5% (by volume) up to 100%.
