1960s	Electrolux acquired Getinge.
1989	Rune Andersson and Carl Bennet, Swedish entrepreneurs, acquired Getinge from Electrolux.
1993	The company is listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange (NASDAQ OMX).
2000	The acquisition of Maquet enabled Getinge to start provisioning operating theatres.
2008	The company expanded its presence in the cardiovascular field.
1993	The company expanded its business through continuous sales.
