1970	Huntsman Container Corp.was formed in Fullerton, California.
1974	It launched clamshell.
1982	It created Huntsman Chemical Corp.
1987	Huntsman acquires polypropylene plant in Woodbury, New Jersey, from Shell Chemical Company.
1989	Huntsman acquires three styrene manufacturing facilities in Texas, Virginia and Illinois from Hoechst Celanese Corp.
1992	Huntsman acquires Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company's North American film and flexible packaging business and forms Huntsman Packaging.
1993	It establishes the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah.
1996	Huntsman Corporation is formed with the consolidation of all former Huntsman Chemical Corporation operating entities under a single management.
1997	Huntsman Corporation purchases Texaco’s propylene oxide and MTBE businesses in Port Neches, Texas.
1998	Huntsman Corporation purchases Orica Australia Pty. Ltd.
1999	Condea-Huntsman joint venture starts up new maleic anhydride manufacturing facility in Moers-Meerbeck, Germany.
2000	Huntsman Corporation acquires Orica’s polyurethane business in Australia.
2003	Huntsman Corporation creates its Advanced Materials division by acquiring the Vantico Group.
2006	Huntsman Corporation acquires the global Textile Effects business of Ciba Specialty Chemicals Inc.
2009	Huntsman Textile Effects establishes its headquarters in Singapore.
2010	Arabian Amines Company, a joint venture between Huntsman Corporation and Zamil Group.
2012	Huntsman Corporation’s Polyurethanes division forms a joint venture with Sinopec to construct and operate a PO/MTBE facility in China.
2016	Huntsman Corporation inaugurates the Huntsman Campus Shanghai in the Minhang Economic and Technology Development Zone.
2019	Huntsman Corporation completes the acquisition of 50% interest in its Sasol-Huntsman maleic anhydride German joint venture from Sasol, giving Huntsman 100% ownership of the entity.
2020	Huntsman Corporation acquires Icynene-Lapolla.
