1994	Biomedical Photometrics Inc. founded to commercialize scanning laser imaging technology developed at the University of Waterloo.
2015	Huron Technologies rebranded itself as Huron Digital Pathology. The new name and accompanying logo more clearly communicate its focus on delivering innovative whole slide scanning solutions to its customers in digital pathology.
2020	Huron Digital Pathology has been granted a U.S. patent for barcoding digital images. The invention forms the basis for Huron’s image search platform.
