1957	Representative Director Hong-je Cho established Hyosung Corporation Co., Ltd.
1964	Hyosung Corporation acquired Haedong Refinery in Yeongdo, Busan.
1975	Hyosung Corporation acquired the Incheon factory of Daedong Corporation (operating as Incheon's 1st processing plant).
1980	Hyosung Corporation launched the first yacht at Incheon’s yacht plant.
1987	Hyosung Corporation merged with Singal Tourism Development, Dongyang Industry, and Seoul Building.
1989	Hyosung Corporation opened the Audi/Volkswagen showroom in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu.
1992	Hyosung Corporation established a joint venture, Korea Coal Pty. Ltd., in Sydney, Australia.
1997	Hyosung Corporation acquired Sebo Refrigeration, entering the refrigerated warehouse business.
2007	The company acquired Dongguk Trade Spandex Factory with an annual capacity of 6,000 tons in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, China.
2020	The company collaborated with Andar to launch “athleisure” masks.
