Kubota’s MBR system uses the Kubota Submerged Membrane Unit (SMU). The SMU was developed to treat municipal, commercial and industrial wastewater. The Kubota MBR system requires less aerated volume than a CAS system, and this is made possible by its large hydraulic capacity.
