1997	Established Macrogen Inc., the company Chosen for a leading technology project of “Commercialization of a special disease model developed by gene transplant and gene targeting” by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
1998	The company has developed new substance efficacy search gene transplant mice for new drug development called Hsp70 inductor exploration.
1999	Macrogen launched the Muscular Dystrophy Association Korea sponsorship project and developed a pilot product for DNA Chip 0.4K.
2000	The company has established the DNA Chip Support Center and opened the Life Science Institute and the Bioinformatics Institute in South Korea.
2002	Established MGenBio Co. Ltd, a heteroplastic organ transplant specialist. Signed agreement for “Korea – Mongolia disease gene discovery joint research” with Mongolia’s Ministry of Welfare.
2003	Macrogen developed a genome analysis chip (BAC DNA chip) to diagnose hereditary chromosome aberration disease.
2004	Established Macrogen Corporatio and partnered with Applied Biosystems in the U.S. for a “DNA chip project.”
2006	Macrogen Merged with Vector Core A Co. Ltd., a biotechnology company for vector development. In the same year, it Signed a joint R&D contract with Changhae Ethanol Co. Ltd. to commercialize the Zymomonas strain for the production of ethanol for fuel.
2007	Established Macrogen Japan Corp. in Japan and Soma Therapeutics, an affiliate for molecular diagnosis and new drug development by discovering disease genes.
2008	Established Macrogen Europe branch in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and Macrogen Daejeon branch in South Korea.
2009	Macrogen signed an agreement with Boryung Pharmaceutical to promote genome analysis services and personalized medicine.
2010	Signed a business agreement with LG Life Sciences for R&D and market entrance with personalized treatment based on personal genome information.
2012	Established U.S. affiliate Macrogen Clinical Laboratory. Also, it Started a joint development of personalized lung cancer medicine with Oscotec.
2015	Macrogen, EONE Laboratories, and EONE Diagnomics Genome Center signed an agreement on the molecular diagnosis and genome analysis project.
2016	Merged Macrogen Corporation in the U.S. and Axeq Technologies Inc. and also Introduced a new CI and slogan in the same year.
2017	It established MiGenstory, a joint corporation with Macrogen and LG Household & Health Care, and also established the Macrogen Spain branch in Madrid, Spain.
2018	Signed a business agreement with the Myongji Medical Foundation for business cooperation and a joint research for clinical adaptation of disease control protocol based on genome information.
2019	Macrogen signed an MOU with ThermoFisher Scientific and a subscription agreement with Microba, a microbiome analysis company.
2020	Launched genetic health care subscription service ‘care8 DNA’ with SK Telecom and Invites Healthcare.
