| Epoxy systems |
|
Epoxy systems include both one-component and two-component options, which encompass adhesives, sealants, coatings, potting/encapsulation compounds, and impregnation resins. Two-part systems can be cured at room temperature or elevated temperatures, while one-part systems require elevated temperatures, typically between 250 and 300°F, for curing.
One-part epoxy systems are designed for ease of use, requiring no mixing, and are available in liquid, paste, and solid forms. They aim to simplify processing, reduce waste, and enhance productivity by eliminating concerns related to mix ratios, weighing working life, and shelf life.
B-stage epoxy systems represent a unique one-part option that is partially cured. In contrast, two-part epoxy systems are the most common in industrial applications, offering a wide range of performance properties and specialty packaging options that facilitate mixing, weighing, and storage. |
| LED light curable adhesives |
|
LED light curable adhesives are characterized by their high bond strength, thermal stability, and resistance to chemicals and water, along with excellent surface curing properties. These single-component adhesives are designed to provide secure and rapid curing when exposed to ambient temperature LED light. |
