1833 - 1960	Formed the first-ever nationwide wholesale pharmaceutical drug distribution network in the U.S. and became the largest U.S. distributor of wholesale pharmaceutical drugs, beverages and chemicals.
1991 – 2006	Acquiresd RelayHealth, HBO & Co., General Medical Supply, Medis Health and Pharmaceutical Services.
2007 – 2016	Expanded oncology expertise with the acquisitions of Biologics and Vantage Oncology. Also acquired Oncology Therapeutics Network and Onmark Group Purchasing Organization.
2017 – 2018	Forms healthcare IT joint venture with Change Healthcare. Acquired CoverMyMeds, RxCrossroads.
2019	Acquired online prescription fulfillment business, Echo.
2020 – 2021	Advances cancer care and research with the launch of Ontada, an oncology technology and insights business.
2022	Forms a joint venture between McKesson’s US Oncology Research (USOR) and HCA Healthcare’s Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI). Acquired Rx Savings Solutions, Compile.
