Company Overview

Microsynth AG develops nucleic acid synthesis and analysis products. Three main business segments of the company are DNA/RNA Synthesis, Contract Research/Outsourcing and DNA/RNA Analysis and Sequencing. Microsynth AG has three subsidiaries: Germany-based Microsynth Seqlab GmbH, Switzerland-based ecogenics GmbH and Microsynth Austria GmbH. The Balgach facility is accredited with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and authorized by SwissMedic to run quality control of medicinal products by GMP Sanger sequencing. This unit is also certified with EN ISO 13485:2016 for the production and distribution of nucleic acids. Swissmedic has certified all of Microsynth AG's genetic analysis platforms as GMP-compliant for contract laboratory quality control of pharmaceuticals.

• DNA/RNA Analysis and Sequencing : DNA Sanger sequencing of all types like GMP Sequencing, Next Generation Sequencing , PCR, qPCR, Digital PCR, DNA/RNA Isolations, Genotyping.
• Contract Research/Outsourcing : Assay establishment and validation like IVD, Animal and Food Diagnostics, Biological Testing like Lot Release mRNA Vaccines, Gene Editing, Gene Therapy.
