The device combines Nemaura’s patented technology with a small sensor, giving people with diabetes a noninvasive way to manage their condition. The reusable sensor has adhesive skin patches, which are used for one day, then thrown away. The sugarBEAT also includes an app that may be downloaded onto the user’s smartphone, smartwatch, or smart tablet. There is also an optional handheld reader for users who opt not to use their smart devices.
