1996	NETGEAR, a provider of networking hardware for consumers, businesses, and service providers, was founded by Patrick Lo and Mark Merrill.
2023	NETGEAR has launched its first WiFi 7 router, the NETGEAR Nighthawk RS700 Router, which features the all-new RS700, delivering up to 19Gbps of fast WiFi, more than doubling the speed of previous generations.
2024	NETGEAR partnered with Panasonic Connect to develop AV-over-IP solutions for the broadcast and Pro AV industries using the KAIROS IT/IP Platform.
2025	NETGEAR launched the Orbi 370 Series, a high-performance WiFi 7 Mesh System, and expanded its Orbi portfolio.
