Company Snapshot
Company Overview
Founded in 2005 as a spinoff from the University of Oxford, Oxford Nanopore Technologies plc., developed label-free, single-molecule DNA sequencing technology. Its technology can be used for DNA/RNA analysis using nanopore-sensing technology. GridIon, its nanopore platform, can also be applied to protein and other single-molecule analyses, as well as liquid biopsies. It is focused on developing small, portable, and less expensive sequencers. It operates in two business segments: life science research tools (LSRT) and COVID testing.
