1986	It revolutionized molecular biology by introducing the first "Plasmid-Kit".
1996	Introduced the BioRobot 9600, its first bench-top workstation, which automates purification technologies.
1999	Joint venture with Becton, Dickenson and Company is established.
2004	Company QIAamp becomes the world’s first standalone product for sample preparation to receive the CE-mark.
2006	Established Asia regional headquarters in Shanghai.
