1958	Rohm was incorporated as Toyo Electronics Industry Corp. by Kenichiro Sato.
2011	ROHM SEMICONDUCTOR INDIA PVT. LTD. was incorporated and is classified as a foreign company subsidiary and registered at RoC-Bangalore.
2013	The company started mass production of the RASMID series, which was comprised of the most minor parts, utilizing an entirely new manufacturing method.
2014	The company developed high-power ultra-low-ohmic shunt resistors optimized for current detection in automotive and industrial applications.
2015	Rohm Co. Ltd. acquired a part of Renesas Shiga factory (8-inch line) from Renesas Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Ltd. This part will be utilized to manufacture mainly IGBTs, MOSFETs, and piezoelectric MEMS devices.
2019	ROHM acquired a part of the diode and transistor business from Panasonic Semiconductor Solutions Co., a group company of Panasonic Corp.
2022	ROHM entered into an agreement with Shiga Prefecture to 'connect people and forests', stipulating two parties to work together and cooperate toward achieving a sustainable society utilizing Shiga Prefectural Omifuji Karyoku Park (Yasu, Shiga Prefecture) as a practical model.
2022	ROHM signed an agreement with Kyoto City to build a decarbonized society. This agreement provides greater cooperation between the two parties on decarbonization, biodiversity, and improved local resilience.
