2012	Sakai Chemical acquired KATAYAMA SEIYAKUSYO CO., LTD., to expand its portfolio into active pharmaceutical intermediates and ingredients business.
2018	Sakai Chemical acquired major stocks in Siam Stabilizers Chemicals Co Ltd., to strengthen its overseas plastic additivers business.
2024	SC Organic Chemical Co., Ltd. merged with Sakai Chemical to streamline the group's business operations and further improve services and reliability.
