History

1960	Fielding and Chavannes founded Sealed Air Corporation with the BUBBLE WRAP as the company's signature brand.
1970	Sealed Air acquired Smith Packaging Ltd., a Canadian company, marking its first move into international markets and leading to the creation of Sealed Air of Canada, Ltd.
1987	Sealed Air acquired Jiffy Packaging Corp, a manufacturer of protective mailers and other packaging products, at the time.
1998	Sealed Air purchased the Cryovac packaging business from W. R. Grace to create protective and specialty packaging.
2011	Sealed Air acquired Diversey Holdings, Inc., formerly JohnsonDiversey, Inc., and became a global provider of cleaning and hygiene products to the institutional marketplace.
2015	Sealed Air acquired B+ Equipment, a company headquartered in France that designs, manufactures, and services automated packaging equipment for order fulfillment operations.
2016	Sealed Air partnered with Box on Demand and Panotec, providers of 3-dimensional equipment platforms and fanfold corrugated for on-demand, right-sized box creation.
2017	Sealed Air acquired Deltaplam Embalagens Indústria e Comércio Ltda, a family-owned and operated Brazilian flexible packaging manufacturer, to create recyclable, high-barrier shrinkable bags, multilayer films, laminates, and pouches.
2019	Sealed Air acquired MGM’s flexible packaging business to expand its printing and lamination capabilities and serve customers throughout the Asia Pacific.
2023	Sealed Air acquired Liquibox for $1.15 billion to expand the company's automation of sustainable packaging solutions.
2024	Sealed Air and Ossid partnered to provide case-ready processors with a solution for their tray overwrapping machinery and material needs.
