History

1960 Fielding and Chavannes founded Sealed Air Corporation with the BUBBLE WRAP as the company's signature brand.
1970 Sealed Air acquired Smith Packaging Ltd., a Canadian company, marking its first move into international markets and leading to the creation of Sealed Air of Canada, Ltd. 
1987 Sealed Air acquired Jiffy Packaging Corp, a manufacturer of protective mailers and other packaging products, at the time.
1998 Sealed Air purchased the Cryovac packaging business from W. R. Grace to create protective and specialty packaging.
2011 Sealed Air acquired Diversey Holdings, Inc., formerly JohnsonDiversey, Inc., and became a global provider of cleaning and hygiene products to the institutional marketplace.
