Teknor Apex Co. Inc. manufactures and provides customized polymer solutions to plastic-using industries. Established in 1924, the company has its headquarters in Rhode Island, with additional offices in North America, Europe and Asia.

The company’s business has six divisions: Teknor color, vinyl, thermoplastic elastomers, engineering thermoplastics, chemicals and garden hose. Each division manufactures provides unique products and solutions.

The company provides its products to the construction, consumer, electrical and electronics, industrial, medical, and packaging transportation industries. The vinyl segment provides PVC compounds, such as flexible PVC compounds and rigid PVC compounds.

The flexible compounds are Apex Flexible PVC, FireGuard LS FR PVC, Flex alloy PVC elastomers and Apex PVC blends. The rigid PVC compounds are Apex rigid PVC, AquaGuard CPVC and Weatherguard PVC Compounds and Alloys. Thermoplastics elastomers (TPE) segment provides compounds to TPS, TPO, TPV and TPU compounds; and it has product lines that include Medallist, Monprene, Sarlink and Elexar. The calendared PVC film segment product is an apex film. The polyolefins segment product is the HalGuard LS HFFR compound.

The colorants and masterbatch segment provide masterbatch to polyolefins such as salsa red, citrus orange, sunflower yellow, jungle green and forest green. The polyamide segment products are CHEMLON NYLON and CERAMIDE polyamides. The esters segment product is TruVis. All the segments provide customizable products and fulfill customers’ expectations.
