Tianan uses natural bacterial strains instead of genetically-modified strains for biological fermentation. The company has a production capacity of 2,000 metric tons per annum and became the first company in the world to produce PHBV using water-based extraction technology reducing production costs. Major end-use industries for the company’s products are food and pharmaceutical packaging.
