Single-mode diode lasers
The industrial diode lasers are designed for maximum performance across a spectral range of 375 nm to 1064 nm. These lasers integrate top-tier diode technology with robust opto-mechanical engineering and user-friendly computer control, making them suitable for diverse applications in biophotonics, microscopy, semiconductor inspection, industrial manufacturing, and homeland security. The product line includes the iBeam smart, which features free-space beam delivery with a TEM00 mode and a spectral linewidth of approximately 0.5 nm, and the iBeam smart PT, which utilizes a fiber pigtail with single-mode polarization maintaining fiber, both supporting continuous wave (CW), analog, digital, and mixed modulation operations. This combination of features aims to ensure high precision and versatility for various industrial and research needs.
Multi-laser engines
The iChrome family of multi-laser engines is specifically designed to meet the diverse needs of biophotonics applications such as microscopy, cytometry, and DNA sequencing. These compact and reliable systems provide a flexible laser source capable of delivering multiple wavelengths through an optical fiber output, effectively replacing cumbersome and maintenance-heavy “breadboard solutions.” With the incorporation of TOPTICA’s proprietary COOLAC technology, all integrated lasers boast of achieving precise alignment at the push of a button. The iChrome systems can supply up to seven different wavelengths spanning from ultraviolet to infrared, with individual lasers efficiently combined and transmitted via single-mode, polarization-maintaining fibers.
