Optek Technology Inc. operates as a subsidiary of TT Electronics PLC. Based in Plano, Texas, it manufactures optoelectronic solutions for sensing and illumination applications, including office equipment; light curtains, proximity sensors, liquid-level sensors, door-position sensors, encoders and current sensors in industrial markets; and safety-related sensors, security sensors, position sensors, speed sensors, location sensors, electric motor sensors, NC compressor sensors and battery-current sensors in the automotive sector.
