Vulcan Materials Co. is a U.S.-based construction materials producer that specializes in aggregates such as crushed stone, sand and gravel. The company is also a leading producer of asphalt and RMC. It offers its products for the construction of roads, tunnels, railroads, airports, hospitals, schools, shopping centers, factories and worship places. Vulcan Materials operates globally through its four operating segments, namely, aggregates, asphalt, concrete and calcium. As of December 2022, the company has 404 active aggregate facilities, 71 asphalt facilities, 142 concrete facilities and one calcium facility.

In 2022, in line with its environmental sustainability goals, the company met its goal of securing 5% of all electricity from renewable energy sources. It also supplied 2.1 million tons of recycled asphalt pavement and 1.7 million tons of recycled concrete for projects.
