Abnova is the world’s largest antibody manufacturer. It has the capability to generate 300 mouse monoclonal antibodies and 200 rabbit polyclonal antibodies per month. Rather than the traditional method of antibody production, Abnova uses a genomic/proteomic approach for the antibody development. Its goal is to have at least one antibody to every human expressed gene in the human genome. It manufactures all products, recombinant proteins and antibodies in its state-of-the-art production and SPF animal facilities. It also has multiple clones for the monoclonal antibody, and their access is available to partners and collaborators from the academic institutions and industry.

The available antibody products include MaxPab, DNAxPab, polyclonal, monoclonal, recombinant, conjugate, secondary/Tag, beads/dyes, ab pairs/kits, ab & tissue arrays, IHC/pathology ab, and circulating rare cell ab. The company offers various services such as antibody production, conjugation, antibody scale up, assay development, and circulating tumor cells which includes cell isolation.

In December 2019, Abnova upgraded its antibody technology and manufacturing for researchers, biotech and pharmaceutical customers worldwide. Abnova’s new antibody production platform DNAx Immune uses DNA antigen for direct immunization thereby obviating the traditional peptide and protein antigen for immunization and screening.
