Company Overview
ATCC, a nonprofit organization with its headquarters in Manassas, Va., is a global biological materials resource and standards organization offering products and services manufactured under ISO certification and accreditation. The product collection includes human and animal cell lines; continuous, primary, immortalized, and stem cells; cell and microbial derivatives; culture media and reagents; and molecular genomic tools, microorganisms, and biological products.
ATCC biological materials are often incorporated as standards required by global regulatory agencies, including the FDA and U.S. Department of Agriculture, and organizations such as AOAC International, Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute, European Pharmacopoeia, U.S. Pharmacopeia, Japan Pharmacopoeia, and the World Health Organization. ATCC offers numerous examples of human iPSCs representing different reprogramming methods, ethnic and gender diversity, Down syndrome, Parkinson’s disease, and cystic fibrosis.
