Canadian Solar is a manufacturer of solar photovoltaic modules. The company has grown into a global provider of solar energy and battery energy storage solutions, as well as a developer of utility-scale solar power and battery energy storage projects. Canadian Solar is a publicly traded company that has been listed on the NASDAQ since 2006. The company has more than 26 manufacturing facilities in Asia and Americas.
Canadian Solar’s two main business segments are CSI Solar and Recurrent Energy. CSI Solar manufactures solar modules and battery energy storage systems and delivers total system solutions. Recurrent Energy develops, builds, and connects solar power and battery energy storage projects. CSI Solar’s manufacturing capacity is expected to reach 61 gigawatts for solar modules by the end of December 2024.
