Conti Urban Concept Tire

Continental’s sustainable concept tire Conti Urban is used for electrified city buses and delivery vehicles. This tire is approved for road use and contains around 50% renewable and recycled feedstock. The tread of the Conti Urban contains 68% renewable materials such as silica obtained from the ash of rice husks, rapeseed oil, and responsibly sourced natural rubber originating from a joint development project by Continental and the German development aid company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)
