It operates in 518 locations across 55 countries, with 207 production sites globally. Additionally, R&D activities were conducted at 91 locations globally.

Continental AG is expanding its mobility with wireless electric vehicle charging systems, as it continues to grow its focus on electrification and digital transport solutions. Such systems are intended to wirelessly charge EVs without the need for cables, which may facilitate better usability while decreasing reliance on cables. Continental’s wireless charging system is designed to work easily in conjunction with vehicle control systems and energy management, while improving safety, efficiency, and interoperability. As a company with global R&D capabilities and deep knowledge of the automotive segment, Continental is also establishing a new EV ecosystem that includes wireless charging for both passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
