Cytonome’s proprietary GigaSort Platform is an application specific laser-based cell sorter that allows the identification, characterization and isolation of highly purified cell populations in a manufacturing environment. A unique feature of this technology is the fully enclosed, single use, fluidic set that contains a microfluidic chip. This ensures safety and sterility in therapeutic cell sorting applications. Cytonome GigaSort cell sorter is specifically designed for high throughput sorting where sterility, cell viability and cGMP requirements are critical. Other offering includes Viva-G1 cell sorter and HYDRIS cell purification system.

Cytonome possesses an expansive portfolio of intellectual property, with 97 issued patents in a variety of technical areas, with particular focus on microfluidics. A further 59 patent applications are pending.
